01 · Filming & live

Organisation before technology.

A successful live show is won in the days before it: the logistics are settled, the technical running order timed to the minute, the speakers have rehearsed. On the day, nothing should be left to decide.

The full chain

Five encounters with the image, one single supplier.

Large-sensor multi-camera, live vision mixing, streaming, coverage of plenaries and panels, interviews on the side, b-roll and vox pops. Indoors and out.

Modular: take the whole chain or a single item. An event, a campaign, a series of interviews, a brand film — the breakdown stays the same, from the site survey to reusing the rushes.

Formats covered

What we film, and how it comes out.

TV show and brand studio

A set built for the brand and run like a TV show: host, guests, pre-recorded segments, on-air graphics. We supply the set, the lighting, the control room and the timed running order. The programme comes out edited, ready to publish, with short versions for social media.

Multi-platform streaming

Simultaneous delivery to YouTube, LinkedIn, the client’s platform or an intranet, public or access-restricted. Redundant encoding, a load test the day before, 4G backup on site. We monitor the stream throughout and deliver a clean replay.

Plenary, convention and awards coverage

Two to six cameras depending on the room, live mixing, screen feed for the audience and isolated recordings. Plenaries, panels and awards are covered in full; side interviews are shot the same day.

Hybrid seminar, on site and remote

A room and remote participants, on Teams, Zoom or Meet, with the same image quality for both audiences. Sound and video return of remote speakers on set, question moderation, and separate recordings of each workshop.

Interviews and speaking engagements

Short form, in studio or on location: one to three cameras, worked lighting, autocue if needed. Used for client testimonials, internal messages and executive portraits — most of what we shoot outside events.

Teaser, aftermovie and social formats

Before the event, a teaser that fills the room. After it, an aftermovie and a reserve of short formats cut from the same rushes: 9:16 verticals, squares, subtitled quotes. Editing, grading and mixing in house.

Technical set-up

The equipment, and who operates it.

Large-sensor multi-camera, 4K

Full-frame bodies and cinema lenses, set for a film look rather than news. 4K recording, delivery in 4K or 1080p depending on the platform, matching colour profiles across cameras for consistent grading.

Live mixing, graphics and keying

Vision mixing on site: titles, lower thirds, logos, package rolls and keys sent to air during the show. The replay therefore comes out already packaged, without a long post-production stage.

Technical planning and direction

Before the shoot: venue visit, camera plan, sound and lighting feeds, power requirements, timed running order. During: technical direction on site from rig to de-rig, one contact for both the venue and the client.

Sound, lighting and power

Radio mics for the speakers, room sound pick-up, mixing in the control room and a safety recording. Lighting matched to the room and to the brand, on batteries or mains, with the power load calculated in advance. For heavier set-ups — concert-scale sound, lighting design, image walls — see technical staging.

The group’s equipment

Cameras, lenses, lighting, grip and sound come from Pleine Image Loc, our rental arm. No sub-rental to pass on, no waiting for availability, and equipment tested before every departure.

360° video and immersive capture

For conferences and site tours, 360° capture usable in an immersive player or as flat excerpts. Useful when you need to show a place remotely or put the viewer back in the room.

More than 100 live shows a year.

Volume is what makes the difference: crew reflexes, backup procedures and proven equipment all come from it. And because the control room and post-production sit in the same house, a problem with a body or a lens is solved by a round trip to Saint-Denis, not by a change order.
